Attendee Registration Information

NOTE:  Due to the extremely strong response to this event, we recommend you register early.  Although Sponge Passes provide access to all parts of the show, seating in the keynote and speaker rooms is on a first come, first served basis.  If you want to see a particular speaker, make sure you arrive early to pick up your badge and get in line.  We also recommend you preregister so that you need only pick up your badge on the day of the show. 

Registration and badge pick up booths will be open at 7AM on the day of the show.  Pre-registered attendees can pick up their badges in the Lupine room at the Marriott on Friday from 3pm to 10pm (time subject to change).

There are two types of registration currently available: 

  • Sponge Pass - $45
  • Curious Bubba Pass - $15
A Sponge Pass will get you into the entire show, from keynote to speakers to BOFs to exhibit floor.  This is the option for those of you who want to "soak it all in."

The Curious Bubba Pass gets you entrance to the Exhibit only.  This is for those who have an interest, but aren't sure if they want to bother with a whole day of brain soaking.

Early registration will help us to keep things organized and flowing smoothly on the day of the show by giving us an idea of how many attendees we can expect.  Early signs show a high interest in this event with some estimates going well beyond the expected 600 visitors we've planned for.  Early registration is the best way to know if we've got room for extra visitors!

Paying at the door

Cash and checks only will be accepted at the door.  We don't have access to credit card processing at the hotel.  We'll investigate some way of arranging this, but don't count on it.  There are a number of banks nearby so ATM's should be available.  We're looking into making maps to show their locations.
 

Confirmations and Picking Up Your Badge

Confirmations for early registration (those sent by USMail or through the secure online registration system) will start going out this week by email.  No printed materials will be sent to registrants.  All registration materials must be picked up at the Marriott on Friday in the Lupine room or on Saturday at the Registration tables.  A photo id is necessary to pick up your badge.
 

No Replacements, No Refunds

No replacement badges will be issued - if you lose yours, you'll have to buy another.  Also, badges cannot be reassigned to another person.  No refunds for badges either.  Sorry, we're a small group and all these extra details are more than we can handle.
